Vibe9 is the work of Mike Maurer: a builder, problem-solver, and lifelong listener who makes custom in-ear monitors for artists who cannot afford a weak link.
His process began in the broadcast booth at Morristown High School’s WJSV-FM, established in 1972, and led to his first in-ear monitor build in 1990. Using driver technology closely related to what remains in use today, Mike developed a tried-and-true craft grounded in production, quality control, the real shape of the ear, and the demands of the stage.
